Unleash creativity with affordable, inclusive classes for ages 4 to adult! From first steps to polished performances, our programs blend passion with purpose:

Enrollment, Fees & Payments

    • Non-Refundable Deposit: Due at registration to secure enrollment.

    • Installments: Monthly payments must be made by the due date on your receipt.

    • Late Fees: A $10 late fee applies to balances unpaid 7 days after the due date. Delinquent accounts over 30 days will result in suspension of classes.

Refunds & Withdrawals

    • 50% Refund: Available if withdrawal occurs within the first two weeks of a session.

    • No Refunds: After two weeks, or for instructor-initiated cancellations.

Attendance & Lateness

    • Absences:
        • Notify CAPAS at least 5 hours in advance.

        • No guaranteed make-ups for absences. Vacant slots may be used for make-ups at instructor/director discretion.

    • Lateness:
        • Late arrivals receive no extended class time. Classes end at the scheduled time regardless of start delays.

Class Cancellations & Makeups

    • Studio-Initiated Cancellations (e.g., weather, instructor illness):
        • Make-up classes scheduled in April, June, November, or December. Students notified directly.

        • Weather Closures: Follow NYC public school closures. Make-ups only offered if schools close.

    • No Refunds for cancellations.

Master Classes

    • Mandatory Attendance: Students must attend 1–2 master classes per semester.

    • Purpose: Deepen skills, interact with guest instructors, and fulfill make-up requirements.

Performances

    • Recitals: Held May/June for qualified students.

    • Requirements: Sell 4+ tickets to perform.

    • Dress Rehearsals: Attendance mandatory for performers.

Dress Code

    • General:
        • No revealing clothing (e.g., low-cut tops, mid-thigh skirts).

        • Actors: Plain sweatpants/shirts (no logos), black ballet shoes.

    • Performance Attire:
        • Males: Black dress shoes/pants, white shirt, black bow tie.

        • Females: Black character shoes/skirt, white blouse, black scarf.

    • Supplies: Students must bring notebooks, pencils, and required books.

Conduct & Discipline

    • Expectations: Respectful behavior from students and parents. No bullying, vulgar language, or disruptions.

    • Consequences:
        • 1st Offense: Written warning.

        • 2nd Offense: Expulsion without refund.

    • Disputes: Resolved in a disciplinary meeting with the Board.

Safety & Operations

    • Late Pickup: $10 fee per 30 minutes if students are picked up 15+ minutes after class ends.

    • Snacks: Sold on-site (juice, chips, etc.). Exact change required; no credits.

    • Substitutes: Classes may be taught by qualified substitutes without prior notice.

Communication

    • Meetings: Parents/adult students must attend 1 meeting per semester to discuss events and policies.

    • Holidays/Breaks: Listed on your schedule calendar.
